Heart Power, Inc. has worked diligently toward its mission to invoke a commitment to excellence, despite one’s current circumstances. Our most visible program to date is C.H.A.M.P. Camp, which is a two-day football camp for students ages 10–18 that provides a combination of football instruction, mentorship, and off-field life lessons at little to no cost to participants. C.H.A.M.P. Camp uses football as an avenue to instill the core values of Character, Heart, Attitude, Motivation, and Pride through community leaders, former collegiate and NFL athletes, and other positive role models.
Elevate is an all-inclusive program that implores underprivileged high school-aged student athletes to capitalize on tremendous resources in order to equip themselves for life after high school.
Elevate will develop prepared and equipped leaders in the school and community. We will achieve our mission and goals through ACT/SAT prep and tutoring, mentorship, leadership and life skills development, and high intensity athletic training.
Heart Power, Inc. accomplished a lot with the C.H.A.M.P. Camps, but we look to elevate these students a step above. Elevate will begin this fall at Aurora Central High School, and we need your help. Inclusiveness is at the heart of our work; we believe that it is important to the success of our youth and the transformation of our community. Aurora Central High School, where this program will be piloted, boasts a diverse student body. 71% of students at Aurora Central are eligible for free/reduced lunch, a common indicator of poverty in schools. Therefore, we have made this program free for all 35 participants – relying solely on our partnerships and your sponsorship support.
We are supported by people from all walks of life who joined us because they believe in our vision. As we grow and increase our reach, we depend on the support of leaders such as yourself, and we are excited to include you as a sponsor.
Heart Power and Anthony “Champ” Kelly are excited to host annual C.H.A.M.P. Camps in several locations (Florida, Kentucky, and Colorado). In order to facilitate these camps, we are reliant on your contributions and support. Your monetary support allows less fortunate kids the opportunity to participate in such an impactful event. As we all know, children are very impressionable and providing them an opportunity to be impacted by a positive role model could make an invaluable impression on their future. None of our staff, speakers, or coaches are compensated. They dedicate their time simply for the reward of investing in our youth; therefore, we like to make sure they have outstanding accommodations and equipment during the event. Your sponsorships and donations pay administration and insurance fees, travel, advertisement, and equipment needed to conduct the camp. In addition to making a profound impact on the youth in our community, Heart Power will be donating proceeds to a local charity whose efforts and actions align with our mission and purpose.
Soon, Heart Power will launch additional programs to help further its mission statement. Upcoming programs will include various after school programs and all-girls athletic camps. In adddition, we are establishing a scholarship fund to assist with college tuition for some deserving youth that embody the core values of Heart Power’s mission. We are working diligently to continually establish other avenues to provide consistent mentorship for today’s youth.
