Heart Power, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth and their families who are in search of positive, encouraging influences in their lives. One of the most important events held by Heart Power is our C.H.A.M.P. Camp, which is a 2 day non-contact football camp for children ages 10-17.
For 2 days, the staff and coaches work diligently with youth from local communities, teaching football fundamentals while preparing campers for success on and off the field. Every position is instructed by experienced coaches and current/former players. Drills include competitive one-on-ones and extensive group work including pass skeleton and offensive/defensive line combination work. Along with on-field instruction, the camp offers a variety of guest speakers (local business leaders, former collegiate and NFL athletes, and other positive role models) delivering messages on life skills and the importance of making good decisions. Through these activities, the C.H.A.M.P. Camp strives to instill the core values of Character, Heart, Attitude, Motivation, and Pride (C.H.A.M.P.).
Over the last few years, our camp speakers have covered topics such anti-bullying, accountability and respect of peers, health and nutrition, preparation, perseverance, requirements for college entrance, and the importance of education, etc. These camps enable Heart Power to make a direct impact and positively influence local youth while raising funds to donate back into the local community. As we grow and increase our reach, we depend on the backing of you, our supporters, and your prayers. Thus far, through these camps, approximately 700 kids have experienced tremendous guidance and insight from highly skillful role models. We have also donated thousands of dollars to deserving charities that share in our mission. We are excited about what we have accomplished thus far with The C.H.A.M.P. Camp, and are highly encouraged about the future of the camps. Camps will continue to be hosted in Florida, Kentucky, and Colorado.
