SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Heart Power, Inc. operates the C.H.A.M.P. Camp SMS messaging program to communicate with registered campers, parents, guardians, and other program participants. Messages may include camp confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, logistics, motivational messages, and program announcements related to C.H.A.M.P. Camp and Heart Power, Inc.

  1. Opt-In

By registering for C.H.A.M.P. Camp at www.heartpowerinc.org and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Heart Power, Inc. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of camp registration or participation.

You may also opt in by texting START to our designated program number.

  1. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 8 messages per camp season. Message frequency increases during the weeks immediately preceding and during C.H.A.M.P. Camp.

  1. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Heart Power, Inc. does not charge for text messages; however, your mobile carrier may charge for messages sent and received. Please consult your mobile carrier’s plan for details.

  1. How to Opt Out

You may cancel SMS messages at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message from Heart Power, Inc. You will receive one final confirmation message confirming your opt-out. No further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

To opt back in after opting out, reply START to the same number or re-register at www.heartpowerinc.org.

This program is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support may vary. Heart Power, Inc. is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile phone number and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.heartpowering.org/privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Heart Power, Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued participation in the SMS program following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Heart Power, Inc. makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of SMS messages. We are not liable for any damages arising from your participation in the SMS program or your reliance on messages received.
